BERNARDSVILLE – The Green Team of Bernardsville will host its fourth annual electronics recycling event 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5.

Residents can drop off items in the Bernards High School parking lot at 25 Olcott Ave.

This free event will feature drive-through service and off-loading of items from vehicles to make recycling old computers, printers and other electronic waste as easy as possible. All area residents, businesses and organizations may participate.

The following items will be accepted: TVs, computers, monitors, printers, stereos, phones, VCR/DVD players and many more items. For a complete list of accepted items, visit www.newtechrecycling.com.

Newtech Recycling, Inc., will handle the recycling of the “e-waste” in their state-of-the-art facility in Somerset. They are a state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) approved processor of obsolete electronics and are committed to a zero-landfill policy. Residents are invited to clear the attic, deliver their “e-waste” and help celebrate Earth Day.
