NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.47 per cent up at 18,419 around 10:45 am (IST), with shares of BEML (up 2.96 per cent), GE TD India (up 2.95 per cent) and Bharat Electronics (up 2.80 per cent) as the top gainers.
Shares of Greaves Cotton (up 2.67 per cent), Sadbhav Engineering (up 2.50 per cent), Kalpataru Power Transmissions (up 1.93 per cent), Thermax (up 1.38 per cent), Mahindra CIE Automotive (up 1.14 per cent), Finolex Cables (up 1.04 per cent) and Carborundum Universal (up 1.01 per cent) were also trading in the green.
However, shares of V-Guard Industries (down 0.91 per cent), Suzlon Energy (down 0.36 per cent), ABB India (down 0.27 per cent), Schaeffler India (down 0.24 per cent) and Havells India (down 0.07 per cent) were trading lower.
Benchmark BSE Sensex was 16 points up at 33,578, while the NSE Nifty50 index was 9 points up at 10,352.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
Sun Pharma, Infosys, Lupin, Bharti Airtel and Oil Natural Gas Corporation were the top gainers in the Sensex index.
Dr Reddy’s, Adani Ports, Asian Paints, Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the laggards in the Sensex kitty of stocks.
