NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.42 per cent up at 18,312 around 02:45 pm (IST), with shares of Finolex Cables (up 3.26 per cent), Reliance Naval and Engineering (up 1.92 per cent) and SKF India (up 1.56 per cent) as the top gainers.
Shares of V-Guard Industries (up 1.50 per cent), CG Power and Industrial Solutions (up 1.44 per cent), ABB India (up 1.18 per cent), Va Tech Wabag (up 0.80 per cent), Kalpataru Power Transmissions (up 0.64 per cent), Havells India (up 0.64 per cent), Larsen Toubro (up 0.56 per cent) and Bharat Electronics (up 0.50 per cent) were also in the green around that time.
However, GE TD India (down 2.31 per cent), Welspun Corp (down 1.53 per cent), NBCC (India) (down 1.21 per cent), Schaeffler India (down 1.06 per cent), Siemens (down 0.74 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 0.51 per cent), Suzlon Energy (down 0.36 per cent) and Thermax (down 0.20 per cent) were trading in the red around that time.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 12 points at 10,296, while the BSE Sensex was 38 points up at 33,381.
Among the 51 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
Coal India, NTPC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Oil Natural Gas Corporation, Reliance Industries and ITC were among the top gainers in the Sensex index.
ICICI Bank, Cipla, State Bank of India, Dr Reddy’s, Infosys and Mahindra Mahindra were among the top losers.
