CRYSTAL LAKE –Having trouble finding places that will accept that old TV or computer monitor for recycling?

The McHenry County Green Guide Recycling Directory has been updated with additional electronics recycling locations.

The Green Guide is produced by the McHenry County College Sustainability Center. It features 10 categories for recycling, including paint, motor oil, compact fluorescent bulbs, fluorescent tubes, electronics, TVs and computers, batteries, appliances, household hazardous waste and medications.

The Green Guide also is available online at www.mchenry.edu/recycling.

To join the mailing list to receive future copies, visit www.mchenry.edu/green and click on “Sign-up Form.”

For businesses that are interested in being listed in the Green Guide, contact the sustainability center.

The next edition of the Green Guide will be released in April 2017.
