Essex County is offering several recycling events in coming weeks and months for all residents of Essex County. During these days you can dispose of items such as old prescription pills, oil, paint, used tires, and old electronic items in an environmentally friendly manner. Collection days are noted below.

Essex County Drug Take Back Day: Saturday, April 29th (please call 973-323-3907 for specific locations)
Essex County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day: Saturday, May 6th, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 125 Fairview Ave., Cedar Grove
Essex County Computer Electronics Recycling Day: Saturday, May 20th, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 125 Fairview Ave, Cedar Grove
Essex County Used Tire Collection Day: Saturday, June 17th, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Essex County Public Works Building, 99 West Bradford Ave., Cedar Grove
Help keep dangerous materials from unnecessarily entering our waste-streams. Bring them to Essex County’s collection days and they will be properly disposed of. These important collection days are for Essex County residents only.
