PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Police caught a teen green-handed as he sprayed paint on signs and flipped off surveillance cameras at Northport K-8 school Wednesday evening.
Police say a security officer monitoring surveillance cameras saw Leighlan Kyle Fraser wandering the campus at 250 NW Floresta Drive, spraying graffiti in green paint at several spots on school grounds. The camera caught him flashing signs and his middle finger, at some points covering his face with his shirt.
Fraser, of Southwest Prado Avenue, just turned 18 on Feb. 19. He faces felony criminal mischief and trespassing charges.
Police arrived on scene quickly and caught up to Fraser, who started to run but then stopped when ordered to. Police found several messages sprayed around campus, including “F— you,” “School sux,” “Blood” and “This school sux.” Police also found a can of green spray paint and green paint on Fraser’s hands.
