Later that day, the synagogue will hold its “The Megillah According to Broadway – Meal Spiel” event at 6 p.m. The “Story of Queen Esther” will be re-written using lyrics from Broadway hits. On Feb. 19, the synagogue will deliver mishloach manot at 10 a.m. to Menorah Park. Volunteers should meet at Menorah Park to deliver the Purim bags. Participation is free. Contact Shani Kadis at shanikadis@bnaijeshurun.org to learn more. Menorah Park is at 27100 Cedar Road in Beachwood.

On Feb. 24, The Ohio State University’s The MeshugaNotes will perform at the conclusion of Shabbat service, which begins at 9 a.m. They also will stay after kiddush for a song-filled show. The event is free. For more information, contact Shani Kadis at shanikadis@bnaijeshurun.org.

On Feb. 25, the synagogue will hold its super Purim carnival from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be carnival games, bounce houses, face painting and food for purchase. Later that day, the B’nai Jeshurun sisterhood will present “Vashti’s Banquet,” a night of merriment and pampering, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. There will be dinner, dessert, pampering services, shopping and live music. On Feb. 28, the synagogue will hold its “The Whole Megillah” event. The pre-party, Graggerpalooza, will be at 6 p.m. Attendees will transform a box of pasta into a gragger and enjoy a mini-magic show. Pizza will be provided. Registration is required. At 7 p.m., there will be a traditional and family Megillah reading followed by dancing and hamenstaschen. At 8:15 and 9, the “Kosher Hypnotist/Mentalist Show,” featuring Ronnie Baras, will comically demonstrate mind reading. The first show is for teenagers and the second is for adults. On March 1, the synagogue will hold its morning minyan Megillah reading and breakfast at 7 a.m. The event is free.
