From scenic drives to sandy beaches and rolling green countryside, the UK has an endless offering of destinations to take a break.
But a study by accommodation site LateRooms.com has revealed 95 per cent of Brits have seen less than two per cent of the country.
A staggering 62 per cent have seen less than 0.5 per cent of the stunning holiday destinations close to home.
But it doesn’t mean we’re not taking breaks – 58 per cent of Britons have seen Paris, more than those who’ve visited York (57 per cent), Edinburgh (52 per cent), Liverpool (50 per cent), Bath (48 per cent), Cambridge (44 per cent) or Glasgow (37 per cent).
Residents in the British capital are more likely to have visited Paris (67 per cent) than any UK city outside London itself.
