NEW DELHI: The BSE Sensex was trading 25.11 points down at 28,326.51 in the afternoon trade on Tuesday on account of mild selling in selected frontline bluechip counters.
Among the sectoral indices on BSE, the Metal index was trading 199.44 points down at 11,531.04 around 1 pm, Auto was 17.37 points down at 22,144.94, Realty was trading 1.78 points down at 1,481.1 and Power index was down 9.35 points at 2,220.78.
The BSE IT, BSE Oil Gas and BSE Capital Goods index were trading 16.95 points up at 10,173.56, 58.37 down points at 13,015.72 and 57.91 points down at 15,345.85, respectively.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 13 points lower at 8,792.05.
In the 50-share index, 15 stocks were trading in green, while 35 stocks were trading in the red.
Shares of NCL Industries, Pan India Corp, Salona Cotspin, Next Mediaworks, GVK Power Infra, DCM Shriram Cons, Venkys (India), KEI Industries, NBI Industrial Finance Company Ltd., Times Guaranty hit their fresh 52-week highs in Tuesday’s trade, while Shekhawati Poly, Nitesh Estates, Panoramic Uni, DB International, Pennar Engineered Building Systems Ltd., Tera Software, Wonderla Holidays, Birla Cotsyn, Rasoya Proteins and Gangotri Text touched their fresh 52-week lows.
