BEA Johnson of Zero Waste Home, the guru of the Zero Waste lifestyle, is inspiring people around the world by sharing her journey to successfully living ‘waste free’.

Since 2008, Bea and her family have produced a mere one jam jar of waste each year, using the five ‘R’ principles: Refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle and rot.

Join Bea on her South African tour at an event on 8 May at 1pm at Durban Botanic Gardens, 9a John Zikhali Road.

Bea is not a “flower-power bohemian burn-out” but a stylish trend-setter who walks her talk about living with as little impact on our natural world as possible. She is the 2011 grand prizewinner of the Green Award, and is author of best-seller Zero Waste Home which has been translated into 14 languages.
