Twelfth Night

Celebrate Twelfth Night with carols around the bonfire, toasts and colonial games. Learn about the history of Twelfth Night and enjoy a candlelight tour. Local photographer talk

Charlotte photographer Daniel Coston will discuss his work as part of his exhibit at the Charlotte Museum of History, 6-9 p.m. Jan. 15 at 3500 Shamrock Drive. Coston will speak about legends like Johnny Cash and the Avett Brothers, along with hundreds of the biggest names in music whom he’s photographed. Event includes live music and light refreshments. A Jan. 2 calendar contained wrong information. The Green Living Series will be offered Tuesdays throughout January from 11-11:50 a.m. at the Tyvola Senior Center at 2225 Tyvola Road. The series is free Jan. 12 and 19 and $5 for the Jan. 26 class which includes a field trip to the recycling center from 9 a.m.-noon. Transportation provided. To register: 704-588-5224.
