This 4-year-old attractive wood-shelved market recently expanded its breakfast selections.
“Based on customer demands, we tripled the options. The star is a breakfast wrap called the Hungry Man’s Burrito,” says Greek native Anthony Papageorgiou, adding it has chicken sausage, cheddar, cage-free eggs, spinach, tomato and avocado ($7.95). “As the name hints, it will not leave you hungry. Though, it’s the contrast between the different tastes and textures that make it a memorable meal.”
Much ado went into adding the Brazilian acai bowl ($11.95).
“After tasting acai bowls in dozens of places, we took the best recipes and combined them with our own ideas,” he says. “Even the toppings are strategically placed to seduce your eyes.”
New smoothie bowls are called Dragon Fruit and Matcha ($11.95).
Patrons kept asking Papageorgiou what he was drinking, so he added his personal low-sugar, vegan smoothie to the menu and called it My Protein. It includes banana, blueberry, cocao nibs, hemp protein, almond butter, almond milk and goji berries ($8.95).
“Eventually, we couldn’t keep it a secret,” he says. “It’s a taste that makes you think, ‘How can it be healthy and so tasty?’ The answer is very high-quality ingredients carefully put together.”
