KATONAH – Nelson Salazar, real estate sales person from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Katonah, will share expert insights on how to best prepare your home for sale during a presentation titled, “Sell My House: Tips for Making Your Property Market-Ready.” The presentation will be held at 2 p.m. March 25 at Lewisboro Library.
Salazar who has more than 20 years of real estate experience in Northern Westchester will cover the steps sellers can take to make their home “dressed for success,” including estimating home’s value, tips on preparing a home for sale, and creating better curb appeal.

Westchester Heart Vascular Institute appoints cardiologist
VALHALLA – Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth)’s Westchester Heart and Vascular Institute recently appointed interventional cardiologist Srihari S. Naidu, MD, as Director of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program.
As Director of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program, which is new to Westchester Heart and Vascular Institute, Dr. Naidu will oversee the management and care of patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a rare cardiac condition. Dr. Naidu is nationally recognized for his expertise in the treatment of patients with the life-threatening condition, the most common cause of death in athletes and a common cause of heart failure in people of all ages.
Executive director of the Westchester Country Club elected CMAA president
HARRISON – Robert C. James, CCM (certified club manager), CCE (certified chief executive), CHE (certified hospitality educator), executive director of the Westchester Country Club in Harrison, was elected as the president of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) Board of Directors at its 90th World Conference on Club Management and Club Business Expo, held in Orlando, Fla. James previously served as the vice president of CMAA, and was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2010.
James has been serving as the executive director of the Westchester Country Club since 1991. Prior to his time in Harrison, James began his career in club management at The Philadelphia Country Club in 1973, before moving to The Stanwich Club in 1976 and then the Sleepy Hollow Country Club in 1981.
James became a member of CMAA in 1975 and has served the Association on many national committees. On the chapter level, James has served the Metropolitan Chapter as President and was a founding member and past Chairman of the Metropolitan Club Foundation.
As president of the CMAA Board of Directors, James will lead the 13-member Board of Directors as they work with members, allied associations and partners to further the profession of club management.
