Detroit police are seeking help from the public to find three youths reported missing this week.

Investigators Thursday said two of them vanished that day.

Nicholas Jordan, 15, left his school in the 6500 block of West Outer Drive at 11:45 a.m but did not return home, police said.

He is described as black, 5-foot-9, 125 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion.

Also Thursday, Malek Nelthrope, 10, failed to return home after he was last seen at about 3:45 p.m. near Cherrylawn and Chippewa on the city’s north side.

The child, who has been missing on another occasion, is described as black, 4-foot-3, 70 pounds, with a dark complexion, short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a royal-blue hooded sweatshirt, a light-blue shirt, navy blue pants and black Nike gym shoes with a lime green “swoosh.” Police believe the boy could also be carrying a black backpack with lime-green stripes.

The youth is described as African-American, 4-foot-11, 125 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and black-and-blue gym shoes.
